Proposal: Extra Points

[My last few attempts at a proposal of this sort were shot down, but I'm not going to quit trying. Hopefully this rule is specific enough to keep the non-existant, invisible "bad players" from taking advantage of a hole in a rule that could easily be fixed, once passed, by someone else wanting to make a proposal. Besides, I think a lot of us that have a diary-style blog have wished, after making our second post of the day, that we could be rewarded somehow for it (especially if it was a very good post).]

Change the last paragraph of Rule 9: Gold from:

"A Player may award themselves five Gold for the first entry they post to their weblog, for a given day (this Gold must be claimed within 12 hours of the entry being posted)."

to:

"A Player may award themselves five Gold for the first entry they post to their weblog, for a given day (this Gold must be claimed within 12 hours of the entry being posted). A player may award themselves an extra two Gold for any following entries on a given day, up to three times (i.e. awards for up to four posts a day, or a total of 11 gold possible), provided the entry in question is at least a paragraph (five sentences long). Posts containing only online quizzes or pictures may not recieve points, unless there is also a paragraph in the entry. Any following posts after four may not recieve awards until the next day."

Failed by Geran, Tuesday the 17th, -2 Gold to Lyndse, 2 Gold to Geran (1 Gold to Royce)

Proposal: Political Alignment (trivial)

Change all instances of the word "faction" in the BlogNomic ruleset and the GNDT to "political alignment." In the Data Tracker, this shall be abbreviated as "P.A."

Failed by Geran, Tuesday the 17th, -2 Gold to Lyndse, 2 Gold to Geran (1 Gold to Royce)

Proposal: Questioning Loyalty

Add to the Rule "Factions"

"At any time, the Empress may call into question the loyalty of any member of the Loyal faction by posting a message to blognomic and changing that Player's faction in the GNDT from Loyal to Other."

[an interesting coup was attempted which definitely calls into question the true alliegence of a particular member of the loyal party (who should, perhaps, consider stating his inner rebel allegience outright... assuming that proposal fails, anyway.)]

Enacted by Geran, Tuesday the 17th, 15 Gold to Geran (8 Gold to Royce)
Proposal: BOOM!

Create a new rule, called "The Atomic Bomb", with the following text:

When the Atomic Bomb is created, it shall be set at 30 seconds. If there are two consecutive days where no posts are made to BlogNomic, the reading on the Atomic Bomb shall move one second closer to zero. Should the Atomic Bomb reach zero, it will explode, and all rules except the first eight will be repealed.

[Play or die.]

Enacted by Geran, Tuesday the 17th, 10 Gold to Royce (5 Gold to Geran), 5 Gold to Geran (3 Gold to Royce)

Proposal : Lupins? [Trivial]

[ Some bored footling. ]

In Rule 23, replace "Robin Hood" with "Highwayman" or "the Highwayman", as appropriate. Also replace "Robin Hood strikes again" with "Your money or your life".

Also, replace "Members of the Rebel faction must decide among themselves who is to be the Highwayman. If a decision cannot be made, there will be no Highwayman." with "If there is no Highwayman, the Rebel Subject with the lowest Imperial Favour may assume the role.".

Enacted by Geran, Tuesday the 17th, 2 Gold to Kevan (1 Gold to Nea), 2 Gold to Geran (1 Gold to Royce)
Proposal : Disorganised Coup

[ Eh, just to wake people up a bit. ]

Lyndse shall be overthrown as Emperor, and her Dynasty shall end. A new Emperor shall be selected at random from the Players who voted in favour of this Proposal (excluding Players who included the comment "but not me" after their vote).

Failed by Geran, Tuesday the 17th, -2 Gold to Kevan (-1 Gold to Nea), 2 Gold to Geran (1 Gold to Royce)
