If nobody else has commented on it, an official post may be altered or removed, otherwise this can only be done as allowed by the ruleset. The Admin processing an official post is allowed to append to the post to reflect its new status.

Anything appended to a post in this way must be formatted <div class="adminEdit [result]">[data]</div>, where [result] is one of enact, fail, veto, or other.

Some stuff I want to do with the template/handy scripts needs this extra hook, as the regexp to capture it is getting complex enough to actually add several seconds to the load time.
