Mutiny on the Caine!

Alert! Alert!

The Caine is about to re-enter Euclidean Space. There is an apparent mutiny on the Caine; some Crewmembers have taken to destroying important Machinery on the vessel. The Alert status is changed to Red, to protect the Crew of the Caine. Also, for some reason, the Interdimensional Transporter seems to have powered itself on. Strange.

Under Rule 24 "Change the Lightbulb", some new Machinery is activated. Add the following Machines to Rule 16.

Sentry Cannon #1[Briefing Room] If any Crewmember whose Logic is less than zero is in the Briefing Room, then the Sentry Cannon #1 fires on them. Once the Sentry Cannon #1 has fired on a Crewmember, it may not fire on that Crewmember again until e leaves the Briefing Room. When a Crewmember is fired on by Sentry Cannon #1, a DICE20 check should immediately be made. If the result of that check is 1, the Crewmember has eir Health set to Stunned. If the result is 2, the Crewmember has eir Health set to Wounded. If it is greater than 2, that Crewmember has eir heath set to Dead..

Once the Sentry Cannon #2 has fired on a Crewmember, it may not fire on that Crewmember again until e leaves Cargo Bay #1. If the result is 2, the Crewmember has eir Health set to Wounded. If it is greater than 2, that Crewmember has eir heath set to Dead.


The Logic requirement to use the Console is suspended.

Did some things with the Transporter. In short: if nobody is using the Transporter, then all Machines become starred; all released Samples are added to the Ruleset--this point I have always been unclear on, but now it is certain; the Computer may use the Stasis Unit without a Logic test; there's a last Crewmember standing victory clause in effect; Space Mad Crewmembers may lose Logic instead of gaining it on answering Sequences. Alright, let's see who wins!
