Excalibur: Go to the Back of the Class
In eir post "I enacted Misc Small Changes" Ecalibur writes:
"Which stated to change the title colour on posts"
This sentence either has no main verb or it has no workable predicate. "Stated" could be a verb, but then the remainder of the fragment is a noun phrase introduced by "to change" wihch can not serve as an object. If "stated" is not a verb there is no other candidate for a main verb. Even if we assume the sentence includes the title and thus reads:
"I enacted Misc Small Changes Which stated to change the title colour on posts"
The verb would clearly be "enacted" but there is still no workable object in the predicate. As a result I have added 5 points to my influence.
