Proposal : Endgame

[ Eh, maybe it's time to wrap the current incarnation up and start afresh. The lack of win condition makes the game feel a bit too directionless, and it's far too late to propose a useful win condition, now. I propose that we cut the ruleset back to its basics, and grow something new, giving everyone a chance to feel useful (and new players a reason to join). I also propose that Myke be declared the winner of this first Round of BlogNomic, as I think he's put the most effort in, and is clearly ahead on points.

Perhaps the best thing to have come out of BlogNomic - the Prize game - will continue. Ben and I have been discussing running it as a standalone web game; accepting prize submissions from users and vetting them to give five good ones per week, or something, and having a nice database of prizes and who's claimed them, links directly to relevant blog postings, score-tallying user profiles, and whatnot. ]

First to 1000 Points wins. Myke wins.

Repeal all Rules from 9 onwards, excluding the Glossary.

Enact a new Rule, "Rounds":-

BlogNomic is divided into Rounds, each with a separate winning condition. When a Player meets that condition, the game stops, this Rule shall be updated to reflect their win, and any Administrator may cut the Ruleset and GameState back to an appropriate restarting point.

Round 1 saw Players being awarded Points for meeting specified, weekly criteria in their weblog postings, as well as for miscellaneous encouraged conduct in both their weblog and the game. The winner was the first to 1000 Points - Round 1 was won by Myke.

Round 2 is currently in progres. It has no win condition yet.

Remove the paragraph beginning "A BoardPlayer..." from Rule 3, "Only BoardPlayers..." from Rule 4, and "For Proposals that are designated as Gameboard Proposals..." from Rule 5.

Remove all now-unreferenced data from the Gamestate.

Failed by Myke, Tuesday the 8th, -2 Points to Kevan, +2 Points to Myke
