Proposal: Windbag

Create a new rule:

Wind's of Aeolus

Every time the average morale of the members of a Ship falls below .75X, their ship gains 3 Distance, X being the average morale of every Mariner. This may only occur once every 5 days, no matter how many times the average morale rises or falls below .75X.)

If the average morale of a ship begins a certain 5-day time period below .75X, it must first rise above it, and then fall below .75X in order for the 3 Distance penalty to be incurred.



If three / fourths is to little or to great a difference in morale then let me know. Comments and concerns before voting, please.

I tried to think of a simpler way of penalizing Ships with low Morale, but I came across the fact that Morale may vary greatly within a week or within a day. Now that this Distance penalty has been increased to 5 days, it's more in line with the one week cycle the dynasty seems to be setting for events.

Also, only penalizing a Ship based on the fact that they have the lowest Morale could either end up penalizing one Ship frequently, or every ship multiple times. Either that or you set a certain time for Morale to be measured every week, which wouldn't accurately reflect how Morale has been through out the week.
