Proposal: Let's Try That Again, Shall We?

In Rule 13, 'Gods', at the end of paragraph 2, add the following:

A Priest may re-roll a Prayer Roll a number of times equal to the number of Mariners aboard the Priest's ship who worship the same god as the Priest, devided by two, rounded down. If a number of such re-rolls are made, only the most recently rolled Prayer Roll counts.

[As far as I know, there's really no incentive for non-Priest Mariners to have gods. If there is, consider this an incentive for all the Mariners on a ship worship the same god.]
