ChinDoGu's Log: Poseidon's Ambivalence

Today the outlook seems bleak. Yesterday, as I prayed to the mighty god, I felt his blessings upon this vessel I was confident that he would speed our passage. However when I awoke this morning, I noticed the winds and the waves against us. Rather than speeding us, he has spurned us. I wondered what it was we had done, to deserve his wrath.

I prayed. I pondered. Eventually it came to me. We had done nothing. Indeed someone else had raised the hand of our god against us. Sacrilege. Poseidon will protect his own. Swiftly I make the appropriate sacrifices, attempting to appease him. Meanwhile I advise our captain. "We have been attacked, underhandedly, by our fellow Greeks. This hindrance has a source in Keitalia. However I could not see the crone doing so without the approval of her captain. We must look to Kevan as the source of our troubles.
